Truck Show Update 2009

In case anyone was wondering what we have been up to this summer, here is a little list of truck shows that we attended and how we faired:
1. Fergus Truck Show in Fergus, ON – Barry Kasdorf in Truck 214 (a.k.a. SubLime).

2. Rodeo du Camion in Notre Dame Du Nord, QC – Jon Dyck in Truck 199 (a.k.a. 199), Rick Smith in 211, and Greg Schofield in 217.

b. 3rd - Specialized Combo – Rick Smith

3. Waupun Truck Show in Waupun, WI – Barry Kasdorf in SubLime.
a. 1st – 2008 & Newer Bobtail

4. Great Salt Truck Show in Salt Lake City, UT – Jon Dyck in 199 and Dennis Durand in 198.
a. 1st - Small Fleet – Dennis Durand
b. 2nd - Paint & Graphics Combo – Jon Dyck
c. Best of Show Combo – Jon Dyck

5. Great American Truck Show in Dallas, TX – Jon Dyck in 199 (you may have heard of him, he’s kinda a Big Deal).
a. 3rd - Interior Cab Only
b. 3rd - Working Truck Paint & Graphics Combo
c. 1st - Working Truck Combo 2003 & Newer

6. Alberta Big Rig Weekend in Calgary, AB – Jon Dyck in 199 (a.k.a. The Real Deal).
a. 1st – Best Interior Company Truck
b. 1st – Best Engine Company Truck
c. 1st – Best Paint & Graphics Company Truck
d. 1st – Best Company Truck
e. 1st – Best of Show Working Truck
f. Don Glen Memorial Award
g. Wow Trucks 2010 Calendar Truck
I didn’t want anyone thinking we were just holed up in our offices all summer. We want to congratulate the drivers of the trucks and the guys in the background working in the shop and dispatch office who helped make this possible. Our next stop is Saint Ignace, MI.
