April Fuel Surcharge
April 7, 2009

Dear valued customer,
Crude oil is trading in the mid $40.00 to low $50.00 US per barrel range. Crude oil continues to be volatile moving up and down at all types of speculative news or reports. In the past several weeks the OPEC cartel’s desire to see higher prices is a factor driving crude prices higher once again, despite the poor economic outlook. The oil companies have allowed distillate prices to move lower as their margins on gasoline have improved and distillate inventories keep growing. There continues to be small price decreases in the distillate rack price, which over a period of weeks has had the effect of stabilizing the wholesale price. The surcharge for April will remain at 12%. The price changes up and down have more or less been neutral.

The economic situation in 2009 thru out North America will indeed prove challenging for all businesses, especially transportation. We can only hope the economy improves over the last quarter of the year and early 2010.

We will continue to evaluate the surcharge at the end of every month. These measures need to be taken to ensure we remain profitable. Thank -you for your patience and understanding in this matter.
Best regards,

Greg Arndt
